Planning activities include environmental scanning, conducting focus groups, internal program analysis, strategic plan development, and establishing college goals and outcomes. In addition, the Office of Planning and Research coordinates activities of the President's Council, a 26-member group that meets monthly to guide the annual planning process for the College, make recommendations to the President regarding educational and operational matters affecting the College, and serve as a decision-making resource for the President.  The Office of Planning and Research also assists with grant-writing, report preparation, and special projects.
