VISION HENDERSON COUNTY APPLICATION INFORMATION
VISION HENDERSON COUNTY is an innovative leadership development
program under the sponsorship of Blue Ridge Community College and the
Henderson County Chamber of Commerce. The program is open to all
citizens of Henderson County from the public, private and non-profit
sectors. Special consideration is given to ensure diversity in
occupation, race, gender and age.
Applications are being received for the 2011-2012 class, which will begin with Orientation on August 10, 2011 from 5:00 p.m. to 7 p.m. An opening two-day retreat will be held August 26-27, 2011. Day-long programs are scheduled the second Thursday of each month September 2011 through April 2012 and Vision Graduation will be May 3, 2012.
Use the application to nominate yourself or another person for the
class. A limited number of partial scholarships are available based on
financial need. To apply for a partial VISION scholarship, please
attach a statement expressing your need to the application.
