Angela Owen

Angela Owen has years of experience in the business world with international corporations and SMEs as well. She is passionate about living a life of purpose, meaning and success. Drawing upon her personal experience, knowledge and expertise, Angela delivers practical yet dynamic leadership development to audiences around the world.
 

Prior to being the founding Partner of TBL Leadership Partners, she worked for Procter & Gamble for 14 years where she held a variety of positions in manufacturing operations, business leadership and human resources.  Holding a Bachelor of Science degree in electrical engineering from North Carolina State University, Angela has excellent problem solving and business skills.  Additionally, she is an outstanding communicator who speaks with enthusiasm, experience and a passion to grow and develop people.

Cheryl Jones Janoski

Cheryl Jones Janoski has more than twenty years experience designing and implementing performance management and improvement systems in large, complex organizations.  A national Baldrige Examiner for seventeen years, Cheryl uses the Baldrige Framework for Excellence to teach and coach leaders on effective ways to improve their organization’s performance in the areas of leadership, strategy, customers, measurement, knowledge management, workforce, and operations, leading to improved outcomes for all stakeholders.

Laura Moushey

Laura Moushey

Laura holds a master’s in Human Resources Development from Western Carolina University and an undergraduate degree in business administration from Meredith College.  She also holds the SHRM-SCP certification.  She brings to her students an extensive background in HR with significant experience in employee relations, recruitment and staff development. Laura is responsible for both the strategic and administrative roles in the areas of human resources.

Tim Sparks portrait

Tim Sparks, SPHR, SHRM-SCP
Tim is a tenured Human Resource professional who specializes in Leadership Development, Change Management, and Strategic Business Planning. He currently serves as the Human Resource Manager for WestRock, a manufacturing facility in E. Flat Rock, NC that produces consumer product and Home Entertainment industry packaging for customers such as Sony Pictures, Disney, Bayer and others. Prior to that, he served as a Sr. Human Resource Business Partner for Transamerica. Over the course of his career in HR, Tim has successfully developed and implemented mentoring and change management programs that have been hugely successful, adding significant return on investment to each company’s bottom line results. Tim has been in the HR field for over 25 years, working predominantly in the healthcare and retail industries. Prior to that, he was a teacher and principal for 15 years, serving in the private school sector.

 

Tim has also held several board of director positions including President for his local SHRM affiliate for the Society for Human Resource Management. The chapter serves several hundred local HR professionals providing education and leadership that keeps its members apprised of current trends in the profession. He is also a frequent guest speaker for local, state, and national conferences and seminars, speaking on topics such as Building Successful Mentoring Programs, Organizational and Cultural Change, and Leadership Development. He is also currently authoring a book which reflects on the history and future of the annual performance review.

 

Tim is a graduate of Clearwater Christian College and is currently working on his Master’s degree in Human Resource Management from St. Mary’s University in Minnesota. He lives in Arden, North Carolina with his wife, Terry. They have two sons: Jared and Jonathan.
