Fire Protect Planning

This course covers the need for a comprehensive approach to fire protection planning referenced in the NFPA standards 424 and 1620. Topics include the planning process, using an advisory committee, establishing goals and objectives, and techniques used to approve and implement a plan. Upon completion, students should be able to demonstrate a working knowledge of the concepts and principles of planning as it relates to fire protection.
