Basic Skills programs are offered during day and evening hours.  Classes are located at the Henderson County Campus, the Transylvania County Campus, and at a number of off-campus locations.

Our flexible schedules let you design a program that works for you. 

Programs include:

• English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL)
• General Educational Development (GED)
• Adult Basic Education
• Compensatory Education (CED)

All classes are offered with no tuition for the student.   There is a one-time-only nominal administrative fee for GED testing as well as for graduation for students completing either their GED.

Graduation ceremonies for those who complete the GED ® are held each year.   

The STAR (Success Through Academic Readiness) Center is available to help you achieve your educational goals.
