Get your Moodle and WebMail User ID and Password

Your User ID for WebMail, Moodle, and WebAdvisor are the same.  Please use these two terms interchangeably User ID = Username.  Your password for Moodle and WebMail (but NOT WebAdvisor) is the same as your "Colleague Student ID number". See the account chart for clarity.

1. Go to http://online.blueridge.edu (or WebAdvisor), and click on the Student link

2. Under User Account, click on What's My User ID?

3. Then, a What's My User ID screen appears. Type in your last name ON RECORD and Social Security number (no dashes or spaces) or seven digit Colleague Student ID number if you know it.  Click SUBMIT.

4. This screen now shows your user ID- (Username) it is very important that you write this down.
NOTE: Your BRCC Webmail address will include this Username@webmail.blueridge.edu.

UNLIKE your WebAdvisor password, however, your password for WebMail and Moodle are your SEVEN DIGIT Student Number. So, click your browser's BACK button and the number will fill in underneath your Social Security number.

5.  Your 7 digit Student ID number - which IS your Moodle and Webmail PASSWORD now fills in.  Be sure to write this information down in a safe place.  Do NOT share your login information with anyone, and do not allow anyone to login FOR you.

That's it!  Now, you will need to set up both your WebMail and Moodle accounts.  Once you've done that, you will be able to access both your WebMail and Moodle.  Click here for the Webmail Setup information .
