Questions and Answers
Whether you are taking Internet courses for Curriculum (CU) or Continuing Education (CE), basic questions arise.  The Formats for Distance Learning courses for registration and schedules are:

Get the 411  Need more information about particular online courses? Click the "Get the 411" image for access to the Course Requirements Outlines (CRO's) for more detailed descriptions of individual courses.

IN = Fully Online (aka Internet) with an Instructor  - course sections 201, 202, etc. Be SURE to check out the online Course Requirements also known as Get the 411 (info) BEFORE you register for a fully online course!
HY = Hybrid - some "seat time on campus", plus Internet time with an Instructor, course sections 301, 311, 321, 331, etc.
IH = ITV - Interactive Television - seat time at BRCC, branch, or remote location - usually (but not always) with Internet component, course sections 101, 111, 121, 131, 401, 501, etc.
WB = WebBased or Assisted - a traditional seated course with a web (usually Moodle) component - could be any other section number.
Ed2Go courses are Internet based, mostly self-paced courses for personal enrichment in Continuing Education

Notice the icons on the upper right of your browser. They are important for Distance Learners.
icon for WebAdvisor links you to WebAdvisor, the Envelope  Icon for Email links you to Student e-mail (Webmail), the orange  icon for Moodle online links you to Moodle for the Internet Curriculum (CU) AND Continuing Education (CE) courses.  These accounts are explained in detail on the DL "Accounts" page.  Also, the books   icon for Librarylink to the BRCC Library, and the calendar icon for Calendar to events.

Go to Orientation - See current semester brochure for dates and more Info OR, you may now complete the Orientation ONLINE (once you have activated your account)
Have access to campus computers
