Ventilation I & II (21 hours)

This course will allow the student to complete all objectives relative to ventilation for Firefighter Levels I and II. This class will meet Friday from 6:00-10:00 p.m., Saturday 8:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. and Sunday from 8:00 a.m.-5:00 p.m.

Wildland Fire Suppression for Fire Departments (12 hours)

Wildland Fire Suppression for Fire Departments is designed to ensure Fire Department personnel in North Carolina are minimally trained to aid in Wildland Fire Suppression. Students completing this 12 hour course will be qualified to assist in Wildland fire suppression throughout North Carolina. This course is not a substitute for the NWCG S-130/190 course and will not qualify a firefighter for employment with a Wildland fire agency. The course is classroom driven with the use of power point presentation and various visual aids. This class will meet Saturday from 9:00 a.m.-4:00 p.m. and Sunday from 8:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m.
