As Blue Ridge Community College strives to meet the
higher education needs of our community, the demands
to make sure our students are given the best education possible with real life teaching tools is growing, and so
is our need for donations and su pport to acquire such items.

Donation Procedure

When an individual, business, or organization indicates an interest in donating a gift-in-kind to the College, the Foundation Executive Director should be notified. If necessary, the Executive Director will consult with College staff to determine the appropriateness of the donation.

Neither the College nor the Foundation shall appraise a gift. Values placed on contributions and appraisals offered in support of such values for tax purposes shall be the responsibility of the donor. In order to be deductible, the in-kind donation must be made to Blue Ridge Community College Educational Foundation with full control and discretion over the disposition or use of the donation.
