Blue Ridge Community
College Educational Foundation is a nonprofit organization established to support the students, faculty, and programs of Blue Ridge Community College. Each year, the Foundation provides more than 200 scholarships to deserving students; funds endowed chairs; assists with new program start-up costs; and supports special instructional needs.

Patsy and Don Jones

Foundation Director Patsy Farmer Jones and her husband Dr. Don Jones enjoy the company of Bryan J. Gilliland at the 2009 Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon. Bryan, an Early Childhood Associate student, is the recipient of the 2009-10 Patsy Farmer Jones Scholarship.

Andrea Burleson,
former recipient of the Anderson,
Dr. William D. Killian Leadership, and Phi Theta Kappa Scholarships.

Embarking on the path of education is never easy, but Andrea Burleson was committed. She had been a stay-at-home mom for seven years and was ready to begin her studies in Business Administration, wanting to secure her family's financial future so her husband would not have to work two jobs to make ends meet.
