Scholarships are provided each year for Blue Ridge Community College students through the fundraising efforts of Blue Ridge Community College Educational Foundation, Inc. Annual awards are made by the College Financial Aid and Scholarship Committee and payments are distributed each semester.  Please call the Educational Foundation (694-1710) or Financial Aid (694-1815) offices if we can be of assistance to you at any time.

Mary K. Rappley, the first recipient of the Vanessa Y. Mintz Memorial Scholarship, meets Dr. Carl and Sylvia Mintz, Vanessa's parents.

The Hendersonville Board of Realtors established this scholarship in memory of Vanessa who, at the time of her death in February 2011, was a realtor and an outstanding community leader.

At a Scholarship Appreciation Luncheon, Leticia Diaz and Shermonica Darity (scholarship recipients) are engaged in conversation with Gene Kopf, who, as a former Foundation president and College Trustee, set up the Gene Knopf Scholarship 
Endowment to provide a scholarship for an African-American or Hispanic student enrolled at Blue Ridge Community College.
