Basic Skills
Basic Skills and Adult Basic Education programs are for adults

  • who do not have a high school diploma.
  • who are not in school.
  • who function at below the high school level.

Testing is available in English and in Spanish. Adult Basic Education classes are free and offered at the Henderson County Campus, the Transylvania County Campus, and in several other community locations.

High School Programs
Career and Technical Education Pathways is one of three options offered to NC high school Juniors and Seniors. Under Career and College Promise, some high school classes may articulate into the CTE pathways for students who have acceptable test scores and grades.
