Mission...
Connecting classroom learning with hands-on work experience

Cooperative Education (Co-op) is an educational program which combines classroom instruction with practical work experience. The work experience is directly related to the student's curriculum, providing hands-on training in the student's field of study. This combined classroom study and work experience is a meaningful way for students to learn about their program, and to make informed career choices while earning college credit.

Eligibility is based on:

• Enrolled in a curriculum program that offers Co-op for academic credit
• Academic status (minimum 2.0 GPA)
• Completion of 12 semester hours in your diploma/degree program
• Completion of 9 semester hours in your certificate program
• Faculty recommendations
