Blue Ridge begins Spring Registration Oct. 18

Blue Ridge Community College Associate in Arts student Kina Howell is excited to register for the spring semester. After realizing that she wasn’t sure of her direction while away at university, Howell decided to return home and take some time to assess her goals. Through reflection, research, and conversations with family and mentors, Howell came to realize that she had an interest in business, so she enrolled in Blue Ridge as an Associate in Arts student with a goal of transferring to to complete a Bachelor’s degree in business or a related field.

Howell explains, “Now I’m back in school for my business degree, and the more I learn, the more I fall in love with the path I chose.”

It is never too late to start a new path or continue a journey already begun. Blue Ridge begins registration for the spring semester on Oct. 18. The College is also pleased to continue its Free College initiative for the spring 2022 semester. The Free College opportunity is available to both new and returning students. New or returning students can call the Transylvania County Campus at 828-883-2520 or visit for more information.
