Blue Ridge Announces Summer 2022 Dean’s List

This August, Blue Ridge Community College named high achieving students from eight counties across Western North Carolina to the Summer 2022 Dean’s List. These full-time students maintained grade point averages of 3.5 or greater, and each received a congratulatory letter from the college’s president, Dr. Laura B. Leatherwood.

“We appreciate your hard work, your leadership, and your outstanding performance in the classroom,” she wrote. “The example you set is valuable to your school and community alike.”

According to the college registrar, the summer semester enrolled a record high number of students for a summer semester since the college was chartered in 1969. In total, 69 degrees, diplomas and certificates were awarded to 67 graduates during the summer semester.
