This spring, the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS) created this special video presentation to show the importance of our community colleges in the wake of Hurricane Helene. It debuted on April 3, 2025, during the NCCCS awards dinner in Cary, NC.
Multiple western community colleges were featured in the video, including Blue Ridge Community College. The video highlights our work done through the Distribution Center made possible by donations received from community colleges statewide.
We still stand shoulder-to-shoulder with our WNC community colleges as we prepare the graduates needed to rebuild our homes and businesses.
