Fans of classic cars and unique vehicles will roll into town on Saturday, May 31, to gather at Blue Ridge Community College for the 20th annual Benefit Auto and Truck Show from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Free to the viewing public, all proceeds from vehicle entry fees will support students enrolled in Blue Ridge’s Automotive Technology Program as they compete in SkillsUSA automotive competitions.
More than 30 ‘Best of Show’ category awards will be given for car, truck, race car, motorcycle and tractor categories, in addition to ‘Women Driving America’ and ‘Driving Young America’ awards. The event is hosted by the Great Smoky Mountains Region of the Antique Automobile Club of America and SkillsUSA.
During the event, Blue Ridge’s expansive Patton Building parking lot on the Henderson County Campus will feature row after row of antique vehicles for spectators to view. Food and drinks will be available for purchase.
To feature their vehicles, owners may register their vehicles at the gate for a $20 fee.
