Blue Ridge Community College to Host Evening Tours, Open House Night

This fall, Blue Ridge Community College will host multiple events to connect the public to learning opportunities available at the College. Tours and open houses in October and November will showcase workforce and higher education pathways and provide a time for interested parties to discuss programs with faculty and staff. An additional presentation at the Hendersonville Library on Oct. 28 will provide information on financial aid.

Open House Night

The Fall 2025 Open House Night will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 28, from 5:30 – 7 p.m. in the Patton Building on the Henderson County campus located at 180 West Campus Drive, Flat Rock. The public is invited to speak with faculty and admissions staff about higher education opportunities and enrollment. No registration is required for this event.

Evening Tours

Starting in late October, Blue Ridge is hosting six program-themed Evening Tours during which faculty will directly share information about their programs. Highlighted programs include healthcare, film and video production, engineering, machining, business, information technology, and cosmetology and esthetics. Registration for these events is required via the College’s tour website at www.blueridge.edu/tours.

Healthcare Programs Tour: Oct. 30, 5-6:30 p.m. 
Engineering & Machining: Nov. 6, 5 – 6:30 p.m.
Film & Video Production Technology: Nov. 13, 5:30- 6:30 p.m.
Business Programs: Nov. 18, 5-6:30 p.m. 
Information Technology Programs: Nov. 18, 5-6:30 p.m. 
Cosmetology & Esthetics Programs: Nov. 18, 5-6:30 p.m. 

Special Presentation: Financial Aid

During National College Application Week, members of Blue Ridge’s Student Services team will host a special presentation at the Hendersonville Library, located at 301 N. Washington Street. The event will be held on Thursday, October 23, from 5–6 p.m. and will include general Financial Aid and Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) tips for all college-bound students, along with an overview of educational opportunities available at Blue Ridge Community College.
