Blue Ridge Community College’s Adult Education department partnered with ALULA in Brevard this spring semester to provide a valuable adult education class for 12 students. The opportunity included two components: a ServSafe Food Handler Course with a certification exam and a presentation project in which students shared personal stories about their lives.
Students successfully completed the challenging program, with each participant earning a certification. During a ceremony on May 19, 2026, Blue Ridge Community College recognized the students for their achievement and presented them with Blue Ridge swag.
The Adult Education department offers a variety of programs at Blue Ridge Community College’s Transylvania County Campus, including high school equivalency preparation.
