Alumni Spotlight: Kailey Hodges, Horticulture

When Kailey Hodges needed a career change, she turned to Blue Ridge Community College to find her next steps. Now a Blue Ridge alumna of the horticulture program, Hodges finds purpose in rebuilding the environment after the impacts of Hurricane Helene.

“I was able to figure out that I wanted to be part of the solution, and now I have my own gardening business,” Hodges said. “I’m out here to actually take care of the plants and to monitor their health. I love being a gardener.”
