Western NC Regionally Increasing Baccalaureate Nurses (RIBN)

BRCC is the home school for the Western NC Regionally Increasing Baccalaureate Nurses (RIBN). RIBN is a four-year nursing study program. Students graduate with two degrees, both an associate degree and bachelor's degree in nursing. Students participating in the RIBN program will be enrolled in both Western Carolina University and BRCC for the first three years of the program, taking the majority of coursework at BRCC.

Our Graduates

Graduates of our nursing program are eligible to apply to take the National Council Examination (NCLEX-RN). Employment opportunities are vast within the global healthcare system and may include positions within acute, chronic, extended, industrial, and community healthcare facilities.

Associate Degree Nursing:

Applications for Fall 2020 are currently being accepted. Admissions information for the Fall 2020 ADN program is currently available on the website.  Students may submit their Minimum Admissions Requirements (MAR) Checklist to the Registrar's Office beginning October 1st, 2019 through February 1st, 2020.
