Our goal is to answer your questions, connect you to campus resources, and help you CAPITALIZE on your college experience at Blue Ridge Community College.
All new students enrolling at Blue Ridge Community College are required to complete a new student orientation.

Blue Ridge Orientation Course
If you are unable to attend our New Student Orientation, an online orientation is available. The Blue Ridge Orientation is now available in myCourses and is loaded with important information every student should know during their academic journey. Students who complete the orientation will earn the Blue Ridge Orientation digital badge in their myCourses student profile.
- Students may self-enroll.
- Login with Blue Ridge username and password.
- In the page that opens, click on the “Enroll me” button to enroll in the course.
- Enrollment is always free.
- Unenroll and reenroll any time.
Please note: the Blue Ridge Orientation Course is different from the SOLO: student online learning orientation. Students in online and/or hybrid classes must also complete the Student Online Learning Orientation (SOLO).
