We Know Engineering. After you complete one of our engineering programs, you will, too. We work closely with local advanced manufacturers and other employers to ensure we provide real-world training experiences in our engineering technology programs. Our state-of-the-art learning labs provide hands-on experience that will help you land a job in this growing career field. You’ll learn from the best—all our instructors are engineers who hold master’s degrees and have impressive careers in th e engineering field.

Want a bachelor’s degree in Engineering? We have the program just for you! The Associate in Engineering (AE) program at Blue Ridge Community College is a specialized college transfer degree for those who ultimately wish to transfer to a four-year engineering degree program. Within the degree program, students will complete calculus courses, advanced physics and engineering courses in addition to other general education requirements, such as English, economics, and social/behavioral sciences. The courses that are part of the AE plan of study will transfer smoothly to the following University of North Carolina System schools that house engineering programs:

  • East Carolina State University
  • North Carolina State University
  • North Carolina A&T State University
  • Western Carolina University
  • University of North Carolina at Charlotte
