Set in the heart of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Blue Ridge Community College spans between the thriving metropolitan areas of Asheville, North Carolina and the lively cities of Greenville and Spartanburg, South Carolina, strategically placing it near the center of a rapid growth area in North Carolina. Blue Ridge Community College is surrounded by Historic Flat Rock, the Pisgah National Forest, the Bat Cave-Chimney Rock resort area, and the Blue Ridge Parkway.
Our Henderson County Campus covers 143 acres just three miles outside the historic Downtown Hendersonville. The campus is made up of a thirteen-building complex that includes more than 358,000 square feet of floor space of classrooms, shops, labs, a library, a learning center, office space, and a student activities facility, all centered around a beautiful lake.
This campus hosts a comprehensive library, a state-of-the-art environmental and safety training center, a 450-seat performing auditorium, a 1,000-seat conference hall, television recording studio, a lecture center, a technology training center, and a two-way interactive distance learning center. The Technology Education and Development Center includes a virtual training center and nine state-of-the-art computer labs.
The Health Sciences Center opened in 2016. This collaborative facility houses educational programs for Blue Ridge Community College and Wingate University, as well as the Comprehensive Cancer Center for Pardee Hospital.
