Blue Ridge Community College Hosts Event for High School Students March 6

Blue Ridge Community College (BRCC) will host an event on Tuesday, March 6 for all high school students and parents interested in BRCC offerings. 

From enrolling while students are still in high school to attending BRCC after graduation, this event will connect students and parents with all the opportunities high school students have at Blue Ridge Community College.  Students will learn how to earn both high school and college credit simultaneously in tuition-free classes, as well as the necessary job skills for higher paying jobs. 

This event will feature Blue Ridge Community College’s career focused degree, diploma and certificate programs.  Important details and tips on scholarship and financial aid opportunities will be discussed as well as how to enroll in a four-year transfer program. 

Admission representatives will be on site to answer questions on placement testing, registration and orientation. 

The event will be held from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.. in the Blue Ridge Conference Hall in the Technology Education and Development Center on the Henderson County Campus.
