From our most basic necessities to the most advanced technologies, all are made possible thanks to welding. Fifty-two percent of the Gross National Product has welding involved. Therefore, welding is a much diversified and sought-after skill. If you are interested in a fast-paced, non-traditional work environment, welding is the career path for you.

About the Program

The Welding Technology curriculum includes consumable and non-consumable electrode welding and cutting processes. Coursework includes math, print reading, metallurgy, welding inspection, destructive testing and non-destructive testing providing the student with industry-standard skills developed through classroom training and practical application. Students will learn the fundamental scientific skills and technology while using carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum in applications needed for success in the welding and metalworking industry.

Our Graduates

Graduates may be employed as entry-level technicians in welding and metalworking industries. A lot of industries pay top wages with proof of an on-site welding test. Career opportunities also exist in construction, manufacturing, fabrication, sales, quality control, supervision, and welding-related self-employment.
