Apprenticeship Pathways

Blue Ridge Community College maintains North Carolina Department of Labor registration for multiple apprenticeship occupations. Some programs are currently active, while others may be developed or reactivated based on employer demand and regional workforce needs.

Employer-Sponsored Apprenticeship Pathways

These apprenticeship pathways are available through participating employers rather than through individual enrollment. The employer identifies the employees who will participate and works with Blue Ridge Community College to provide the related classroom instruction. Prospective apprentices cannot apply directly to Blue Ridge Community College for these programs.

Machining, Tool & Die

Employer-Sponsored Program

Training for employees working in machining, precision manufacturing, and tool-and-die occupations.

Apprentices must be selected by a participating employer.

Industrial Systems

Employer-Sponsored Program

Training for employees working in industrial maintenance, equipment, and related systems.

Apprentices must be selected by a participating employer.

2026-27 Identity/Statement of Educational Purpose (V4)

Beginning the 2026-27 academic year, all “Identity/Statement of Educational Purpose” forms must be completed in the Offices of Financial Aid.
