Construction Apprenticeship

The Construction Apprenticeship program allows eligible high school graduates and adult learners to earn while you learn in the classroom and on the job.. The program is a collaborative effort of Blue Ridge Community College, Henderson County Public Schools, Transylvania County Schools, Henderson County Homeschool Association, and local employers working together to support the workforce of todat and tomorrow.

The Construction Apprenticeship Program is a registered North Carolina Apprenticeship with the N.C. Department of Labor.

Program Description

Length of Program: Two years. 4-6 semesters and 4,000 hours of work.
Eligibility: Recent high school graduates and adult learners.
Tuition: Tuition waivers are available for eligible, recent high school graduates, and financial aid may be available for those who qualify. Plus, you’ll earn a paycheck while attending class through your apprenticeship.
Starting Pay: Varies.
Schedule: Class one day a week. Work the remainder of the week at one of our partner companies.

2026-27 Identity/Statement of Educational Purpose (V4)

Beginning the 2026-27 academic year, all “Identity/Statement of Educational Purpose” forms must be completed in the Offices of Financial Aid.
