The Machining Academy at Blue Ridge Community College is a 128-hour pre-apprenticeship program designed to introduce participants to machining and advanced manufacturing careers. Through applied technical instruction, workplace safety training, and career-focused experiences, participants build the foundational skills and workplace readiness needed for entry-level employment, apprenticeship opportunities, or continued technical education.
