The Plumbing Apprenticeship program allows eligible high school graduates and adult learners to earn while you learn in the classroom and on the job. The program is a collaborative effort of Blue Ridge Community College, Henderson County Public Schools, Transylvania County Public Schools, Homeschool Association, and T.P. Howard’s Plumbing Company, Inc. working together to support the workforce of today and tomorrow.

The Plumbing Apprenticeship Program is a registered North Carolina Apprenticeship with the N.C. Department of Labor.

Program Description:

Length of Program: Two Years (Fall 2022 – Fall 2024) and 6,000 Hours of Work
Eligibility: 18 or older, High School Graduate and must have valid Driver’s License
Tuition: FREE.
Starting Pay: $17.00 with Full Benefits. Increases every year. Pay after completion: $21.00
Class Hours: Minimum 432 Hours
Schedule: Class one day a week. Work the remainder of the week at T.P. Howard’s Plumbing Co., Inc.
