Certificados en español

Early childhood education involves nurturing and fostering the development of young minds during their formative years to lay a strong foundation for future success.

To better serve the needs of our community members, the Early Childhood Education program at Blue Ridge Community College proudly offers two certificates entirely in the Spanish language. These include the Preschool Certificate and Infant/Toddler Care Certificate, which combine learned theories, competency-based knowledge, and practice in actual settings with infant/toddler and preschool children.

Graduates should be prepared to plan and implement developmentally appropriate programs in these early childhood settings. Employment opportunities include child development and child care programs, preschools, public and private schools, recreational centers, Head Start Programs, and other infant/toddler care or preschool programs.

Hybrid and Online students should be prepared to participate in community service, workshops, observations and other assignments that require additional time and preparation.
