Training session are intended for all members of the Community College system and will provide useful accident prevention information for employees. Please help us get the word out to faculty and staff members system wide about these events which are geared specifically towards community colleges.

  • It is important that you sign into the webinar no earlier than 15 minutes prior to start of webinar.
  • Webinars will start at 10:00 am and run 60-90 minutes in duration.

Part 2 of this series will cover Personal Protective Equipment, Basic Electrical Safety, Fire Prevention, Fire Extinguishers usage and limitations.

5/16/2023 Chemical Hygiene and Lab Safety REGISTER HERE
This webinar covers best practices for lab safety as required by OSHA 1910.1450.  Attendees will learn about some of the most common hazards and safety violations found in CC science labs. In addition, employees will learn how to properly label chemicals and how OSHA’s Hazard Communication standard applies to their area.

Preregistration (at any time) for sessions is encouraged.  Once registered you will be shown a screen that confirms your registration. Go to bottom of screen and click on View Meeting Information. From here you can add it to your Calendar and at the appropriate time you can join the meeting through your calendar invite. You also will be sent a confirmation email with password and instructions for joining.  You may join the webinar up to 15 minutes prior to the start time. Sign in using your full name (what you would like on your certificate), your community college email address and the password Safe.
