About the Program

We know information technology, and after you attend our IT program, you will too. Educational pathways in our Associate Degree in Applied Science include Computer Programming and Development, Data Management, IT Business Support, Network Management, and Systems Security.

You may also choose from a variety of shorter certificate programs to jump start a new career or enhance your current career. You will get hands-on experience and skills to become a designer, tester, support technician, system administrator, developer or programmer who uses computer software and/or hardware to design, process, implement and manage information systems in areas such as database services, business intelligence, healthcare informatics, and others depending on the technical path you select.

Our Graduates

Graduates of the Information Technology Program will have the ability to:

Resolve technical problems using information technologies and information systems.
Create technology system solutions based on industry standards and customer requirements.
Communicate with clarity and precision using appropriate information technology terminology and concepts
Develop personal and professional skills to anticipate and meet workforce expectations
Manage computer hardware and software in support of a variety of professional environments.

Graduates qualify for employment in entry-level positions in businesses, educational systems, and governmental agencies that rely on computer systems to design products and manage information.

Graduates will acquire knowledge necessary to be prepared to take industry-recognized certification exams.
