Rubber Stamping Fun Techniques
Learn some fun rubber stamping techniques in this intermediate and hands-on course. You will also learn various background techniques. Basic rubber stamping experience is helpful, but not required. Please bring your scissors to each class.
Rubber Stamping Special Folds
Learn some fun rubber stamping folding techniques for making cards in this intermediate and hands-on course. You will be learning the triple fold, star, w-fold, and waterfall card techniques. Basic rubber stamping experience is helpful, but not required. Please bring your scissors to each class.
Mosaic for All Levels
Learn stained glass mosaic technique with hands-on experience going over every step, while working on completing an individual piece from start to finish. You will learn how to use hand tools to score, brake, and shape stained glass specifically for mosaic. Arrange and fit glass into a mosaic composition, along with front mounting technique, proper gluing and grouting indoor mosaic wall art. A supply list will be provided upon registration.
Stained Glass
Learn the art of stained glass using the copper foil method under the guidance of an experienced instructor. You will select projects at your individual skill level. A supply list will be provided upon registration.
Design Your Own Quilt
Learn to construct a quilt using material strips and sewing the pieces together. You will be able to design your own quilt. No quilting experience required. You will need to make sure to bring a portable sewing machine to sew the material together. The cost of the materials for this course will be determined by your design and how large you want the quilt.
Lap or Baby Quilting
Learn to construct a baby or lap quilt using material strips and sewing the pieces together. You will have a choice of three designs to make your quilt and a pattern will be provided to you. The size of this quilt will be determined by how many squares you would like to construct. No quilting experience required. You will need to make sure to bring a portable sewing machine to sew the material together. The approximate cost of the materials for this course will be $75.
Twin or Full Size Quilting
Learn to construct a twin or full size quilt using material strips and sewing the pieces together. A pattern will be provided to you. The size of this quilt will determine how many squares you would like to construct. No quilting experience required. You will need to make sure to bring a portable sewing machine to sew the material together. The cost of the materials for this course will be determined by how large you want the quilt.
Wire Wrapping Jewelry Making
Learn to make your own professional looking jewelry. Experience the art of wire-wrapping through the construction of a copper bangle bracelet with a clasp. No experience is necessary, but good eyesight or a close work magnifier is necessary.
Wire Wrapping Pendant Jewelry
Learn to make your own professional silver wire and gemstone pendant. Experience the art of wire-wrapping through the construction of a beautiful gemstone pendant. No experience is necessary, but good eyesight or a close work magnifier is necessary. Approximate cost of supplies $25.
Making Wire-Wrapped Rings
Learn how to construct finger rings out of sterling silver and/or 14kt gold-filled wire or wire with crystals or gemstones. You will make one, two or three rings depending on ability and time.
