FBLA Collegiate logoFuture Business Leaders of America (FBLA) Collegiate (formerly Phi Beta Lambda) was chartered at Blue Ridge Community College during the fall of 2000. FBLA Collegiate is dedicated to inspiring the next generation of leaders by preparing collegiate members for careers in business and business-related fields.

With joining this organization, there are opportunities to participate in state conferences, national conferences and project competitions in a wide range of subjects including computers, accounting, marketing, management, economics and business law, among other business-related areas.

The goals of FBLA Collegiate are to develop competent, aggressive business leadership, and strengthen the confidence of students in themselves and their work. Members are involved with the community during a holiday season through activities to collect clothes for needy people and to adopt families for Christmas. FBLA Collegiate is financed primarily through membership dues which are $25 per year. This fee includes the State and National dues of $20 and local dues of $5. The fundraising among members plays an important role in the association’s financial base and allows us to participate in state and national conferences competing in a wide range of business-related fields.
