SkillsUSA is a national non-profit organization with over 300,000 members. The purpose of SkillsUSA is to prepare students to become high performance workers in the vocational trades.
The club was started on campus in 2004 by the Automotive Program. It is open to all Applied Sciences and to any students on campus interested in honing management skills. It builds and reinforces self-confidence, quality in work performance and high ethical standards. The club participates in many community service activities. SkillsUSA programs include local, state and national competitions in which students demonstrate occupational skills and leadership qualities.
