Blue Ridge Community College curriculum students have a Library account. The Blue Ridge ID card for students and staff serves as your library card. With your library account, you can check out materials and reserve study space. Access to electronic resources will require use of your Blue Ridge credentials (email and password).
Continuing education students, as well as local residents, can also get library cards by filling out an application at the library circulation desk. Library staff will issue a community card to any person who lives, works, or goes to school in the surrounding area. Contact the library at (828) 694-1879 or library@blueridge.edu for more details.

You may bring library-friendly drinks and snacks to the library. Covered drinks — travel mugs or other containers with screw-top lids–are library friendly. Snack items such as packaged crackers, granola bars, M & Ms, etc. are allowed when consumed responsibly. Fast food items or meals from any outside vendor, including the cafeteria, must be eaten outside. When you leave, throw away or pack out your snack and drink trash.
