The Arts Council of Henderson County will present a series of exhibitions as a thematic unit entitled Mentors & Students at Blue Ridge Community College. Celebrating the importance of art in a child’s life, the three exhibitions will be combined into one weekend to feature the work of Henderson County elementary students, secondary students, and their art mentors.
The Art of Our Children will feature our elementary students.
Art Teachers Create will feature the artwork of Henderson County’s art teachers. All artwork will be for sale during the Mentors exhibition.
Artists of Tomorrow will feature our secondary students.
The exhibition will be held Saturday, May 8 from 10 a.m.- 4 p.m. and Sunday, May 9 from noon-4 p.m. All exhibitions will be held at Blue Ridge Community College in the Henderson Building at 140 Alumni Way, Flat Rock, NC 28731. The exhibitions are free, open to the public, and accessible to all.
