Strengthen your mind, expand your knowledge, learn about your community, while making new friends and staying active!

The Center for Lifelong Learning, within the Blue Ridge Community College, caters to the interests of older adults in WNC. We offer courses on a wide variety of topics including history and current affairs (Appalachian, US and international), music, art, technology, literature and more.

  • We offer classes year-round at the Henderson County Campus of Blue Ridge Community College.
  • All classes are held Monday – Thursday, 10 a.m. – noon or 1-3 p.m., and typically span one or two weeks.
Classes are taught largely on-campus, but many are also offered simultaneously via Zoom.
  • No membership or parking fees, and easy mail-in or online registration.
