To apply for financial aid, follow these steps:
- Visit Blue Ridge Community College Admissions for residency determination and application for admission
- Apply through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Blue Ridge Community College federal school code: 009684
The Financial Aid Office uses the “FAFSA” to determine the student’s eligibility for federal, state, and institutional aid. The FAFSA is available on October 1. Students should submit a new FAFSA for each academic year (Fall-Spring-Summer) they plan on attending Blue Ridge.
- Request to have official copies of the High School, High School Equivalency Diploma, or Adult High School transcripts sent to the Registrar’s Office.
- Speak with an Admissions Counselor to complete the admissions requirements and to declare a major.
Current students may track the progress of their financial aid through myBlueRidge. New students will be contacted by mail if additional information is needed.
