To apply for financial aid, follow these steps:

  1. Visit Blue Ridge Community College Admissions for residency determination and application for admission
  2. Apply through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Blue Ridge Community College federal school code: 009684
The Financial Aid Office uses the “FAFSA” to determine the student’s eligibility for federal, state, and institutional aid. The FAFSA is available on October 1. Students should submit a new FAFSA for each academic year (Fall-Spring-Summer) they plan on attending Blue Ridge.
  3. Request to have official copies of the High School, High School Equivalency Diploma, or Adult High School transcripts sent to the Registrar’s Office.
  4. Speak with an Admissions Counselor to complete the admissions requirements and to declare a major.

Current students may track the progress of their financial aid through myBlueRidge. New students will be contacted by mail if additional information is needed.
