The Automotive Apprenticeship program allows eligible high school graduates and adult learners to earn while you learn in the classroom and on the job. The program is a collaborative effort of Blue Ridge Community College, Henderson County Public Schools, Transylvania County Public Schools, Homeschool Association, the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce, and local automotive dealerships working together to support the workforce of today and tomorrow.
The Automotive Apprenticeship program is a registered North Carolina Apprenticeship with the N.C. Department of Labor.

Program Description:

Length of Program: Two Years. 6 Semesters (Fall ’24 – Summer ’26) and 4,000 hours at work.
Eligibility: December 2023, January and June 2024 high school graduates and adult learners.
Tuition: Free. Plus, you’ll get PAID to attend class.
Starting Pay: $16.00. Periodic increases. Pay after completion: $18.00.
720 Class hours.
Schedule: Class one day a week. Work remainder of the week at one of our partner companies.
Stackable: Want to keep learning after your Apprenticeship? These classes can count toward an associate degree at Blue Ridge.
