The Business/Finance Apprenticeship program allows eligible high school graduates and adult learners to earn while you learn in the classroom and on the job. The program is a collaborative effort of Blue Ridge Community College, Henderson County Public Schools, Transylvania County Schools, Henderson County Homeschool Association, the Henderson County Chamber of Commerce, and local employers working together to support the workforce of today and tomorrow.
The Business/Finance Apprenticeship Program is a registered North Carolina Apprenticeship with the N.C. Department of Labor.
Length of Program: One and a half years. Three semesters and 2,000 hours at work.
Eligibility: Recent high school graduates and adult learners.
Tuition: Tuition waivers are available for eligible, recent high school graduates, and financial aid may be available for those who qualify. Plus, you’ll earn a paycheck while attending class through your apprenticeship.
Starting Pay: Varies, w/ periodic increases.
Schedule: Classes 2½ days a week. Work the remainder of the week at one of our partner companies.
