Levi McCracken and SGA students wear chef's hats and give out pizzas at the Blue Ridge Community College Henderson County Campus; SGA students dressed as policemen give out coffee and donuts at the Blue Ridge Community College Transylvania County Campus at a "Coffee with a Cop" event

The Student Government Association (SGA) is made up of representatives from the student body. SGA coordinates and regulates student activities and serves as the official voice of the student body. All curriculum students who pay an activity fee are members and are welcome and encouraged to attend SGA meetings. The president of the SGA is a non-voting member of the Blue Ridge Community College Board of Trustees. A copy of the SGA constitution can be found in the SGA office, and students are encouraged to stop by during office hours or call with questions.

The Student Government Association abides by its Constitution, which is ratified annually and is approved by the Executive Board, then signed by the SGA President, Vice President of Student Services, and the College President.

The Student Government Association meets on the first Thursday of each month from 12-1 p.m. in the Killian Building President’s Dining Room. All meetings are conducted using Roberts Rules of Parliamentary Procedure.

Minutes from meetings held by our SGA can be found at:
