HENDERSONVILLE, N.C. – More than 30 ‘Best in Show’ awards were given to community members who displayed their impressive vehicles at the June 3 automobile show at Blue Ridge Community College. All proceeds from vehicle entry fees collected during the 18th annual Benefit Car and Truck Show will support students enrolled in Blue Ridge’s Automotive Technology Program as they compete in upcoming SkillsUSA competitions. The event was hosted by the Great Smoky Mountains Region and Little Detroit Chapter of the Antique Automobile Club of America.

At the June 3 car show, several Blue Ridge automotive students were recognized as “Tools for Techs” winners by the Hilton Head Island Motoring Festival & Concours d’Elegance.
During the car show, several Blue Ridge automotive students were also recognized as “Tools for Techs” winners by representatives of the Hilton Head Island Concours d’Elegance. This year’s student recipients recommended by Blue Ridge transportation program faculty were Blake Leonard, Jacob Nance, Rainy Fizer, Luke Burton, Thomas Lyne and Cody Russell.
