Blue Ridge Community College is now enrolling students for summer and fall 2026 semesters, as well as accelerated 8-week Short Courses starting in March and June. Providing high-quality, accessible education to Western North Carolina since 1969, Blue Ridge offers over 200 degrees, diplomas, and certificates in 30 areas of study. These include workforce training, paid apprenticeships, dual-enrollment options for high school students, transfer degrees for university-bound students, and nearly 60 fully online programs.
Students are encouraged to enroll early to secure their seats in desired courses. New students can request information or apply at www.blueridge.edu/admissions. Admissions counselors are available to help students navigate the admissions process and coordinate any needed accommodations.

These courses are high-quality, high-value, low tuition, and flexible to fit summer schedules, allowing students to stay on track or get ahead. Financial Aid and Scholarship Opportunities
Financial aid is available for summer and fall semesters, including the Next NC Scholarship, which may fully cover tuition and fees for many North Carolina community college students. To be considered, apply at www.blueridge.edu/admissions and complete the FAFSA.

Healthcare Programs at Blue Ridge
Blue Ridge offers a comprehensive range of healthcare programs preparing students for high-demand careers in nursing and other allied health. These include Associate Degree Nursing (ADN), Practical Nursing (PN), Nurse Aide (CNA), Respiratory Therapy, Surgical Technology, Medical Office Administration, Phlebotomy, EKG, and other allied health programs.
