Career and College Promise Pathways

Many of our pathways offer opportunities specifically to high school students through the Career & College Promise (CCP) program. Whether a student is headed to college after graduation or wanting to land a well-paying job, CCP allows students to get a head start toward higher education, earning free college credit toward a degree or credential at Blue Ridge. Plus, high school students can earn a Blue Ridge Scholar graduation cord to wear at their high school graduation. Learn more about CCP pathways today! (CCP is tuition-free, though some programs require a course fee for equipment, supplies, etc.)

Adult Education and Literacy Assistance

A tuition-free support for adults 16 years of age or older is Blue Ridge’s Adult Education & Literacy (AEL) program, which helps students to be college and career ready. These programs address the needs of adults who want to earn a high school diploma or equivalency; improve their foundational academic skills; or improve their ability to read, speak, and write the English language. AEL offers several programs to meet the needs of every student we serve. Classes are at various times and days in both Henderson and Transylvania counties.
