Options for Getting Started
High School Students
The Career and College Promise (CCP) program gives eligible high school students a head start on college and career preparation through tuition-free college courses. Students can earn credit toward a degree or credential at Blue Ridge Community College.
Students can also earn a Blue Ridge Scholar graduation cord to wear at their high school graduation.
Some programs require fees for equipment, supplies, or other course materials.
Adult Education and Literacy
The tuition-free Adult Education and Literacy (AEL) program at Blue Ridge Community College helps adults ages 16 and older prepare for college and careers.
Programs support students who want to earn a high school diploma or equivalency, strengthen foundational academic skills, or improve their ability to read, speak, and write English.
Classes are offered at various times and days in Henderson and Transylvania counties.
